A Message from Your New Principal, Dr. Daniel DuLany
Dear Granville Academy Families and Community Members,
I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the newly appointed principal of Granville Academy. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this exceptional school community and look forward to partnering with our students, families, staff, and community members to support student success.
I bring a diverse background in education, having served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and, most recently, as the SparkLab Coordinator for Granville County Public Schools. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to creating positive learning environments where all students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from Missouri State University, my school administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and my doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
I am excited to build upon the strong foundation already established at Granville Academy and work collaboratively to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
As we begin this new chapter together, I look forward to getting to know each of you and learning more about the unique strengths and traditions that make Granville Academy such a special place. Together, we will continue fostering a school culture centered on high expectations, meaningful relationships, and student achievement.
I look forward to meeting our students, families, and community members and beginning to build the strong partnerships that are essential to student success. I will be sharing more information soon about a principal “meet and greet" later in July. Be on the lookout for more information soon.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I am excited to join the Granville Academy family and look forward to the journey ahead.
Sincerely,
Dr. Daniel DuLany
Principal
Granville Academy
